Qualifications

I am a Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor and Independent Clinical Supervisor with extensive experience in addiction counseling, mental health, and workforce development. My work is focused on preparing students with practical, real-world skills needed to succeed in behavioral health careers.

I currently provide mental health counseling through Rum River Counseling in Minnesota, where I conduct assessments, diagnosis, and outpatient telehealth services. This ensures the training I deliver is grounded in current, real-world practice.

Previously, I spent over eight years as Program Manager for the Bad River AODA Program in Northern Wisconsin, leading counseling services, program development, and recovery-focused initiatives.

I designed Achievement Learning to provide an accessible, flexible pathway for individuals who want to enter the behavioral health field but desire an alternative to traditional college programs.
